I can't put into words how much I *love* popcorn. It is an absolute staple in our house. And as much as we love popping our own popcorn in our air-popper and melting our own butter, sometimes you just want popcorn that's already pre-packaged and flavored for you. There are certain flavors that I just crave sometimes. For example, caramel popcorn... I crave it all the time!
I have had the extreme pleasure of doing a review on some awesome flavored popcorn from the Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company. They sent me 12 bags of all different flavors for us to enjoy and explore. Some of the flavors I've never even thought of mixing it with popcorn, but you know what? They worked!
Here are the flavors we received:
- Cinnamon Sugar: This was a delicious surprise! Who doesn't love Cinnamon and Sugar? What a combo, and I never would have thought to put this on popcorn! This popcorn was sweet and delicious!
- Kettle Corn: If you've never tried Kettle Corn, you really should. It's the perfect blend of sweet and salty. Just enough sugar and just enough salt for the perfect combination. I've always been a big fan of Kettle Corn, and this one is top notch!
- Caramel: Does this one really even need explaining? It was light, crunchy, chewy and divine all at once!! Caramel popcorn is probably my favorite way to eat popcorn, and the Rocky Mountain Popcorn Company did this one perfectly! I couldn't get enough of it!
- Southwest Cheddar: Inspired by the rich red chili flavor of the Southwest. Fiery hot and deliciously flavorful at the same time! If you like a little "kick" in your popcorn, this will do it for you.
- Jalapeno: My first thought when I saw this, was "really?" Jalapeno popcorn? Can that actually be good? To my surprise, it was! My boyfriend snubbed his nose at it at first, but finally gave in to temptation, and was surprised an how much he really liked it! So much so, that he finished off the bag :)
- Butter: This is probably the most popular flavored popcorn. Who doesn't love butter on their popcorn? This popcorn had just enough butter and just enough salt. It was very good!
- Naked: If you like your popcorn plain, you will love this. It has no flavorings, just a very subtle dusting of salt.
- White Cheddar: If you love cheese you will love the exploding cheese flavor in this popcorn! This is a must for cheese-lovers!
